Leonard Fuld founded Fuld + Company in 1979 and retired from his position as Chairman in 2016. Credited with creating many of the intelligence-gathering techniques currently used by corporations around the globe, throughout his career Leonard Fuld worked with businesses around the world to improve their intelligence and decision-making capabilities. Thanks to his leadership, Fuld + Company has become one of the most trusted competitive strategy firms in the world, recognized not only for uncompromising ethical practices and reliable solutions delivery, but as a proven partner in the development of short- and long-term competitive strategy.
As an authority in the field, Leonard Fuld was among the first four people to be named a Fellow of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and was awarded the Meritorious Award, the highest award offered by SCIP, in 1998. He is cofounder of the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence, the oldest and largest classroom-based CI training institution.
Leonard Fuld is a widely published author and has released four definitive books: The Secret Language of Competitive Intelligence (Random House, 2006), The New Competitor Intelligence (Wiley, 1995), Monitoring the Competition: Find Out What's Really Going On Over There (Wiley, 1988), and Competitor Intelligence: How to Get It - How to Use It (Wiley, 1985).
