Our journey to Net Zero
Posted by | Fuld & Company
At Fuld, we are committed to achieving carbon neutrality across our global operations, embedding sustainability principles into how we work and how we grow as a business.
As part of this journey, we have completed a comprehensive audit of our net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to calculate our carbon footprint for 2024. This is now being independently verified by SGS, a leading testing, inspection and certification company, to provide an official verification statement of our GHG emissions.
In response to our initial findings, we are planting 10,000 trees to begin offsetting our emissions and absorb more carbon than we emit. We’re proud to be working with the Give Me Trees Trust, an NGO dedicated to reforestation and ecological restoration across India to carry out this afforestation initiative.
Next, we will move into the second phase of our net zero plan, which involves designing and implementing further carbon offsetting actions that deliver measurable environmental benefits, including additional afforestation projects with Give Me Trees.
This is just the beginning. Once we have a clear picture of our emissions, we will go further, taking additional positive steps to reduce our impact.
Our commitment to net zero
1. To reduce our carbon emissions year on year, with a clear target of achieving net zero across our operations
2. To embed environmental efficiency into every aspect of how we work — from travel and technology to procurement and partnerships
3. To take meaningful, measurable actions that contribute to a more sustainable future, and to regularly review our progress
We know this is only a small step on the path to net zero, but we believe that every step in the right direction helps us move closer to that goal.
