Arun Kumar is a Director at Fuld, where he leads technology innovation and business-strategy research to help clients translate R&D investments into measurable commercial outcomes.
He works with leadership teams across the energy, automotive, food technology, chemicals, and materials sectors to shape actionable R&D roadmaps, assess technology and competitive landscapes, and identify scalable, cost-effective innovation opportunities. His work focuses on enabling the commercialization of new technologies, designing sustainable waste-valorization and circular-economy solutions, and developing practical pathways to reduce carbon footprints while strengthening operational and economic performance.
Arun holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceuticals from BITS Pilani, India, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Executive Leadership.
Outside of work, he enjoys badminton, cricket, hiking, and cars.
Michael Ratcliffe
Chief Knowledge Officer
Michael Ratcliffe is Chief Knowledge Officer at Fuld and brings more than 30 years of experience in strategy, competitive intelligence, and global market analysis.
His career spans leadership roles with McKinsey & Company, DRI-McGraw Hill, SRI Consulting, and Wood Mackenzie. Michael began his career at BP, moving into shipping economics before expanding into technology and eventually healthcare markets.
He has led strategic engagements across energy, healthcare, IT, transportation, and pharmaceuticals, with deep expertise in innovation-driven market disruption. His book, Competitive Intelligence 2.0: Competing in a Digital World, reflects this focus.
Michael holds MA and BA degrees in Physics from Oxford University and studied economics at the London School of Economics.
