Managing Director, Asia Pacific

Jam Mariquit is the Asia Pacific Managing Director of Fuld & Company.  He has been working in the intelligence arena for 20 years, having served as both practitioner and consultant, in the government and business sectors.  Based out of Manila, the Philippines, his team provides complete coverage of the Asian region, across multiple markets and industries.

He started his career as a fighter pilot and intelligence officer in 1992. He attended the Intelligence Officers Training School, where he graduated at the top of his class.  Between 1997 and 2000, he worked initially as Business Development and Intelligence Manager for a retail chain, then as Vice President for Strategy in a commercial bank. 

Between 2000 and 2002, he worked as a Regional Project Director of competitive intelligence research for a business consulting firm based in Hong Kong.  In this role, he helped regional and global MNCs understand competitors and markets in China, Japan, Korea, Australia, India and Southeast Asia.  Soon thereafter, in 2002, he established a 24/7global primary intelligence research center in Manila that focused on the key markets of North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. 

Subsequently, Jam has also been involved in intelligence, war game & strategy training.  He has conducted several public and in-house workshops in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Australia and the US and has trained over 1000 managers and executives in the process.

Jam obtained his MBA from the Asian Institute of Management in 1997, and currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Enterprise Development.
