Client Situation
Our client, a major telecommunications company, sought to leverage its
activities in wireless communication by forming partnerships. However,
the company did not want to approach any firm already committed to a competitor.
Fuld Approach
Fuld & Company was engaged to determine what alliances had been announced
among potential partners and what functionality was included in these
agreements. We contacted key industry players to discover if the announced
alliances had come to fruition or had not developed as hoped.
Benefits and Implications
Fuld & Company investigated the existing alliances of potential partners,
which allowed the client to quickly assess where to place its initial
effort. The research also gave the client additional insight into the
