Client Situation
Human resources are the lifeblood of all technology firms. Our client,
a fast growing technology firm, believed that its simple sales compensation
system was not longer supporting the company's expanded product set.
Fuld Approach
Fuld & Company interviewed sales and human resources sources at two
target companies to understand both the non-cash benefits of employment
as well as the compensation metrics. We were able to piece together the
complex compensation plans at these more sophisticated competitors, allowing
the client to understand the possibilities.
Benefits and Implications
Our client contact used this intelligence in a meeting with key executives
to jolt the organization into accepting that action must be taken. The
sales vice president accepted the action item to develop a plan more congruent
